Hiring Procedures

Looking for a Job?

After the appropriate posting period, all candidates who have applied for a position are screened by the director, manager, or principal who is responsible for filling the position.

A reasonable pool of candidates is selected for interview. Once the candidates are selected, a team of administrators is selected to conduct the interviews. Interviews are then conducted and a decision is made by the "interview team" on who to recommend for the position. The committee then makes its formal written recommendation to the superintendent of schools. The recommendation is then submitted to the Warrick County Board of School Trustees for approval.

Must-Have Requirements:

All prospective applications must complete an online application to be eligible for employment. You must also have a valid e-mail address in order to complete your application online.

A free e-mail address can by created at http://www.gmail.com.

In-Person Applications:

If you plan to apply in person, there are two stations at the kiosk in the main lobby of the Administration Building. Someone will be there to provide assistance. Anyone needing help may also bring another person along to assist with filling out the application.
